Alexia Ennis, MSW, LCSW

As a social worker and clinician, I believe in the power of change. I received my Masters in Social Work at Howard University and am passionate about helping clients identify problems in their lives and solutions for a brighter future. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults supporting them in utilizing their strengths to develop coping skills and appropriate means for expressing their emotions. I also specialize in working with young children utilizing a combination on play techniques and cognitive behavioral therapy.

My experience as a clinician has involved providing services in schools, therapeutic foster care, and adult mental health day treatment centers. I am currently a community leader working with young girls and provide presentations in classrooms throughout CMS regarding healthy relationships. In treatment with my clients I utilize these experiences to provide a strengths based and experiential therapeutic environment where clients are allowed to learn and practice new skills.
